2nd video from 'IMI' by MOON RELAY

Released today, the second video for Moon Relay. I made this using two projectors - the soft paint-like gradients are produced by feedback from an eighties camcorder. 'IMI' is available from Hubro.

Today sees the release of the video for '#`´`´`´/' by Moon Relay. This is the first of several videos I have made for tracks off their new album, 'IMI', released on Hubro.

PREMIERE for 'Ufroståegli'

20th June 2018

​

This Friday (22nd June), sees the premiere for Ufroståegli, a theatre show for which I composed and recorded the music. The performance begins at 18:00 at Teater Manu in Grünerløkka, Oslo. More details about the premiere can be found on the Facebook event

​

The performance is without words, and instead the ideas of exclusion and belonging are expressed through juggling, music, body movement and object theatre. Suitable for both young and old.

​

'PALMS, BEACHES, DREAMS' video for TORG

A little off-piste, but I made a music video for the band Torg, for their charming song, 'Palms, Beaches, Dreams'.

 

Norwegian music site, Gaffa, premiered the video today, along with an interview with Magnus (bassist of Torg) in which he describes how I made the video. You can find the article here

'DET TRYGGE HUSET' wins ECFA Doc Award 2018

​​The animated short, Det trygge huset, for which I made the film music, wins the ECFA Doc Award 2018 - as last year's best European documentary film for children.

​

Congratulations to director Robin Jensen, and everyone involved, especially the brave children featured in the film.

Today I had the music and sound design approved by the Schneider folk and Oktan team. The commercial was filmed by motion control specialists Flambert SFX.

​

LIVE CONCERT with Airdust & Synne Amanda Salvesen at Ila Fysikalske, Oslo

9th November 2017

I'm playing live for the first time in a long time - supporting Airdust and Synne Amanda Salvesen, at Ila Fysikalske (Claus Riis' Gate 2, 0457 Oslo). The event is 'kid friendly', and there's usually some food for those that arrive early.

​

Doors are at 19:00 and I begin playing at 20:00.

S L Y C - 'Say, the illocuted way'

Out today on white vinyl on the Metronomicon Audio label.

​

I contributed keyboard, clarinet, bass guitar, omnichord, dictaphone and sampler as well as recording duties (plus a mix of one song done with Daniel Meyer Grønvold).

​

The release concert is on the 24th November at Kafé Hærverk with support from the fine group, Children and Corpse playing in the Streets.

​

Klangverkstedet 'Selections' (Groobie Tapes)

Out today on the cassette label Groobie Tapes, a split release with Stiv Heks. My side of the cassette contains various tracks from a number of projects I've worked on during the last five years.

​

 

Edit, November 2018: Sadly the Groobie Tapes label is no more, however copies can still be purchased through Discogs from Bartleby.
